About the role

Deloitte Iceland is looking for a motivated individual to join our audit team as a junior auditor. You will work in a collaborative environment under the guidance of qualified auditors, gaining valuable experience in audit and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform audit procedures and financial statement reviews for a variety of clients.
• Prepare annual financial statements and tax returns.
• Assist with ad‑hoc audit assignments and related documentation.

Required profile

• Strong interest in audit and accounting.
• Fluent in Icelandic and English, both spoken and written.
• Analytical mindset with solid Excel skills.
• Completed or near‑completion of a B.Sc. in Business, Economics or Finance with good grades.
• Currently pursuing or already holding an M.Acc. degree.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
