GitHub Contributor – Remote

About the role

We are looking for an experienced software contributor to provide high‑quality code samples, debugging strategies, and development insights for a variety of open‑source projects. This fully remote contract position allows you to work with diverse codebases and help improve AI training data quality.

Key responsibilities

• Write expert‑level code samples and debugging guides in Python3, Java, Rust, Go, C++ or TypeScript.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex defects and performance bottlenecks.
• Design and implement robust new features with a focus on scalability and maintainability.
• Refactor and optimise legacy code to improve clarity and efficiency.
• Document technical reasoning, solution approaches, and code decisions.
• Review and validate peer contributions for accuracy and clarity.

Required profile

• Significant hands‑on expertise in at least one of the listed programming languages.
• Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
• Proven ability to debug complex systems and deliver effective optimisations.
• Experience modernising large, legacy codebases.
• Track record of delivering high‑impact features from concept to delivery in cross‑functional projects.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Interest in AI technical challenges (no prior AI experience required).
