AI Trainer – Icelandic Language Evaluator

About the role

Prolific is looking for fluent Icelandic speakers to help improve AI language models. You will evaluate AI‑generated Icelandic text, ensuring it sounds natural, idiomatic, and culturally appropriate. This remote, task‑based work lets you influence the next generation of conversational AI.

Key responsibilities

• Perform side‑by‑side comparisons of AI‑generated text snippets.
• Rate the naturalness and authenticity of written Icelandic.
• Identify tonal or phrasing issues that feel unnatural or culturally mismatched.
• Review contextual relevance of word choice and register.
• Tag data with feedback on tone, authenticity, and linguistic quality.
• Select individual tasks after reviewing time estimates and pay.

Required profile

• Fluent in Icelandic with strong command of everyday written and spoken forms.
• Ability to detect subtle differences in tone, register, and word choice.
• Proficient English for following instructions and reporting.
• High attention to detail; background in linguistics or translation is a plus.
• Access to a computer, quiet workspace, and a PayPal account for payments.
