Interview Engineer – Remote Contract

About the role

Karat is looking for experienced software engineers to join its Interview Engineer community on a contract basis, working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate technical interviews through Karat’s platform, ensuring an enjoyable candidate experience while assessing coding skills.
• Provide detailed feedback on candidates’ performance, coding style, communication, and problem‑solving approach.
• Partner with Karat to test interview content, processes, and product improvements.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as a Software Developer or Engineer.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and oral) with professionalism and strong interpersonal abilities.
• Reliable access to a working webcam, microphone, and a stable internet connection.
• Experience conducting technical interviews (e.g., data structures, algorithms) is preferred.
