QC Sample Management Associate Scientist

About the role

Alvotech is looking for an Associate Scientist in its QC Sample Management team. The role covers sampling of incoming raw materials, handling of samples and supporting stability studies, within a pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical setting.

Key responsibilities

• Sample incoming raw materials
• Receive and distribute external and internal samples
• Support the management of stability studies within the sample management team
• Notify the manager of identified deviations
• Complete master laboratory records using good documentation practices
• Support sample management tasks such as reconciling log books and discarding measured or backup samples
• Stay alert to preparations for regulatory inspections and comply with Alvotech's current EHS policies

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of relevant work experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical sector
• Excellent technical written and verbal communication skills
• Very good command of English, written and spoken

Required skills

• Proficiency with a PC and common Microsoft packages such as Word and Excel
• Basic knowledge of GMP and documentation rules is an asset
