Remote Word and PDF Expert (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a remote Word and PDF Expert to support high‑volume document projects for regulated industries. You will apply your deep knowledge of Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF to ensure documents meet strict quality, compliance, and formatting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review, edit, and format complex Word and PDF files while maintaining industry‑specific standards.
• Manage tracked changes, comments, and version control across large document sets.
• Create, edit, and populate dynamic forms and templates for professional use.
• Extract, consolidate, and validate data from Word and PDF sources.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver accurate, confidential document solutions on schedule.
• Implement document workflows for legal, regulatory, and compliance projects.
• Train stakeholders on advanced Word and PDF features and best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of intensive experience with Word and PDF tools in a professional environment.
• Advanced degree (Master’s, PhD, or JD) in a relevant field such as law, healthcare, academia, public policy, or finance.
• Proven track record supporting Fortune 500 or similarly regulated clients.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
• Self‑motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently under remote, deadline‑driven conditions.

Required skills

• Microsoft Word (advanced formatting, tracked changes, markup).
• Adobe Acrobat (advanced PDF features, form fields, digital signatures, secure handling).
• Document version control and workflow implementation.
