Senior Infrastructure Operations Engineer

About the role

Nscale is building a GPU‑cloud platform for AI workloads and needs a senior professional to lead the design, implementation and operation of its data‑centre infrastructure. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, guide large‑scale projects and act as the technical point of contact for high‑priority customer issues.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee design, deployment and maintenance of complex data‑centre systems.
• Lead large‑scale infrastructure projects and evaluate emerging technologies.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert in high‑stakes technical support and incident response.
• Define operational standards, policies and best practices.
• Mentor and provide technical leadership to the operations team.
• Conduct performance reviews and assist in strategic infrastructure planning.
• Engage directly with customers on key projects, escalations and service improvements.
• Travel to additional data‑centres to manage deployments and ensure alignment with organisational objectives.

Required profile

• Deep knowledge of data‑centre architecture, cloud platforms and disaster‑recovery planning.
• Advanced troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis expertise.
• Proven leadership and project‑management experience.
• 6+ years of experience focused on infrastructure design and management.
• Higher‑level advanced certification and strong customer‑service ethic.
