Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Laki Power is seeking a versatile senior full‑stack engineer to own its web applications and share responsibility for system architecture. You will work on the Laki Analytics Studio platform, turning data from high‑voltage field devices into actionable insights for grid operators.

Key responsibilities

• Lead development of the customer‑facing monitoring application, building features end‑to‑end from UI to API.
• Shape and document the system’s architecture together with the lead developer.
• Translate product requirements into technical plans and well‑scoped work items.
• Review code, raise testing standards, and ensure security for critical‑infrastructure customers.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proven ability to work independently, take ownership, and collaborate effectively within a small team.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Experience as a technical lead or software architect designing solutions across frontend, APIs, and data layers.

Required skills

• Expertise in TypeScript, React, and Next.js (including server‑side rendering).
• Experience building accessible, data‑heavy interfaces.
• Automated testing practice covering unit, component, and end‑to‑end tests.
• REST APIs, relational databases, SQL, and willingness to learn Go.
• Knowledge of secure design, OWASP Top 10, authentication, authorization, and tenant isolation.
• Hands‑on DevOps experience with containerization, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (strong advantage).
