Server – Full‑time Hospitality Role

About the role

The Server will deliver food and beverage service to guests at our EDITION hotel in Reykjavik. This full‑time position involves setting tables, taking orders, and ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages, set tables according to event type and service standards.
• Answer menu questions, communicate with the kitchen about orders, allergies, and special requests.
• Record transactions in the MICROS system, present accurate checks and process payments.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glassware, and complete closing duties such as restocking and turning off lights.
• Follow all company safety, security, and uniform policies while providing courteous, professional service.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least one year of related food‑and‑beverage experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb unaided and heavier items with assistance.
• Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team and address guest needs promptly.
