Sports Data Collector (Football) – Reykjavík

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic sports fans in Reykjavík to join Genius Sports as independent contractors, collecting real‑time football data at live matches. You will attend Icelandic Premier League and lower‑division games, recording play‑by‑play events using our mobile application. You will turn your passion for sports into paid experience while contributing to the official live data used by major leagues and media platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Attend live football matches in your local area during evenings and weekends.
• Capture accurate, real‑time game information such as scores, plays, and key events.
• Enter data promptly into Genius Sports’ proprietary software on a mobile device.
• Ensure data quality and consistency throughout each event.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of football rules and terminology.
• Detail‑oriented, reliable and well‑organized.
• Available to work evenings and weekends.
• At least 18 years old.

Required skills

• Proficiency with mobile devices and data‑entry applications.
