About the role

Prolific is looking for fluent Icelandic speakers to evaluate AI‑generated text. You will help improve the nuance and authenticity of language models by reviewing and rating how naturally the AI writes in Icelandic.

Key responsibilities

• Perform side‑by‑side comparisons of AI‑generated text snippets.
• Rate the naturalness and idiomatic quality of written Icelandic.
• Identify tone, phrasing, or cultural mismatches.
• Provide feedback on word choice, register, and contextual relevance.
• Tag data with notes on authenticity and tone.

Required profile

• Fluent in Icelandic with strong command of everyday written and spoken forms.
• Ability to detect subtle linguistic nuances.
• Good English proficiency for following instructions and reporting.
• High attention to detail; background in linguistics or translation is a plus.
• Quiet workspace with a computer and reliable internet.
• PayPal account for receiving payments.
