Associate Project Manager – R&D Operations (Medical Devices)

About the role

We are seeking an organized and proactive Associate Project Manager to support our R&D Operations team. You will help plan, coordinate, and deliver medical‑device projects in a highly regulated environment, working closely with cross‑functional stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Support planning, documentation, and delivery of assigned project activities and workstreams.
• Coordinate cross‑functional tasks, ensuring clear scope, timelines, deliverables, responsibilities and quality expectations.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, action logs, risk and dependency registers.
• Monitor progress, milestones, resources and dependencies; follow up on actions to keep projects on track.
• Identify risks and roadblocks, support mitigation planning and escalate issues when needed.
• Provide regular status updates covering progress, upcoming milestones, risks and decisions.
• Work closely with R&D teams and subject‑matter experts to meet quality, regulatory and documentation requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project‑management processes and tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in project management, coordination or a comparable role.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities across multiple projects.
• Analytical, structured problem‑solving approach.
• Clear, confident written and verbal communication in English.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to build effective relationships.
