Bilingual English/Icelandic AI Trainer

About the role

We are seeking a fluent Icelandic speaker to help train AI models in understanding and generating Icelandic text. You will evaluate model outputs for grammar, fluency, cultural relevance, and provide translations between Icelandic and English.

Key responsibilities

• Write prompts in Icelandic on a wide range of everyday and specialized topics.
• Review AI responses for grammar, fluency, and natural phrasing.
• Check whether answers accurately reflect local culture, customs, and current context.
• Compare model responses side by side and select the stronger one.
• Translate between Icelandic and English while preserving meaning and tone.

Required profile

• Native or near‑native fluency in Icelandic.
• Fluency in English at native or bilingual level.
• Detail‑oriented with strong writing skills in both languages.
• Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) preferred but not required.
• Ability to fact‑check AI responses and flag inaccuracies.
