Freelance Content Editor (Icelandic)

About the role

TransPerfect is looking for a meticulous Freelance Content Editor to ensure the accuracy and quality of web content in Icelandic. You will work remotely, reviewing live pages against staging environments and guaranteeing that every piece of content meets the company’s high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Verify that lists, tables, and general formatting are styled correctly.
• Ensure all content, including metadata, is free of typographical errors.
• Confirm that text matches the approved source by checking live pages against AEM staging.
• Review translated text to ensure seamless integration within CTAs, headers, and navigation components.
• Check that all media (images, videos) display correctly and are visible.
• Flag any inconsistencies or errors between the live site and the AEM page.

Required profile

• Demonstrable experience using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or similar CMS platforms such as WordPress or Drupal.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong eye for content accuracy.
• High level of trustworthiness due to access to client CMS and assets.
• Ability to work independently while communicating clearly and professionally with the team.
• Prior experience in web QA or content validation is highly desirable.
• Native‑level proficiency in Icelandic and professional‑level proficiency in English.
