Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to bridge Engineering, Production Engineering, Quality and our external manufacturing partners. You will own manufacturing‑related issues, coordinate investigations and drive corrective actions while ensuring thorough documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engineering follow‑up on escalated manufacturing issues related to processes, quality, yield, test equipment or products.
• Communicate with subcontractors and manufacturing partners to clarify problems, align on corrective actions and verify implementation.
• Investigate issues together with engineering, production, quality and supplier stakeholders.
• Support maintenance and improvement of test fixtures and production test processes that impact performance or product quality.
• Document findings, decisions, action items and verification results in a traceable manner.
• Translate manufacturing feedback into engineering changes, process improvements or supplier activities.
• Assist with DMR fixes, design changes, production transfers and manufacturability improvements.
• Track open support items, communicate priorities and keep stakeholders informed of progress, risks and next steps.

Required profile

• Relevant engineering education or equivalent professional experience in manufacturing, production engineering, product development or quality.
• Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple open issues and maintain clear records.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with internal teams, suppliers and manufacturing partners.
• Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA) is a plus.
• Ability to understand technical product issues and convert them into actionable plans.
