Marketing & Fundraising Executive

About the role

Join the Sea Life Trust team and help share the inspiring story of Little Grey and Little White, two beluga whales transitioning from performance tanks to a sanctuary. As a Marketing & Fundraising Executive you will drive local marketing, communications and donor engagement to expand the sanctuary’s reach and support.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media, website, email newsletter and PR strategies in collaboration with the Global Marketing team.
• Create compelling content – written copy, photography and video – to showcase the sanctuary’s mission.
• Design and manage fundraising campaigns and donor communications to grow charitable income.
• Build and maintain relationships with tourism operators, local partners and visitors.
• Handle visitor bookings and enquiries, ensuring a positive first impression.

Required profile

• Experience in marketing, communications or fundraising, preferably within tourism, conservation or the charity sector.
• Strong organisational abilities and capacity to juggle multiple priorities.
• Confidence in building external partnerships and engaging diverse audiences.

Required skills

• Proficiency with social media platforms and digital campaign tools.
• Content creation skills (writing, photography, video).
• Experience using a CRM or email‑marketing platform.
