Product Co-Founder – GRC/Compliance

About the role

Sinope is seeking a Product Co‑Founder to lead the development of an AI‑driven compliance platform for ISO 27001 and related standards. The role combines deep GRC expertise with product vision, shaping software that transforms manual consulting into automated, repeatable workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Translate real‑world ISO 27001 consulting and audit processes into scalable software features.
• Encode compliance expertise into the product so that customers, employees and AI agents can reuse it at scale.
• Identify which compliance tasks require human judgement and which can be automated, building the corresponding AI agents or datasets.
• Collaborate with the founding team to define product strategy, roadmap and go‑to‑market approach.
• Drive continuous improvement by capturing repeatable knowledge and turning it into reusable workflows.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience helping organisations achieve ISO 27001 certification, audit preparation or auditing.
• Practical knowledge of additional frameworks such as ISO 13485, ISO 42001 or EASA Part‑IS is a strong plus.
• Strong belief that AI will fundamentally reshape professional services and a track record of using tools like Claude, Codex or ChatGPT in daily work.
• Ability to discern which compliance activities need expert judgement versus those suitable for automation.
