Robotics Software Engineer

About the role

Laki Power is developing the LKX‑DRONE, an autonomous system for monitoring high‑voltage transmission lines. We are looking for a Robotics Software Engineer to design and implement the drone’s onboard operating system, flight stack, computer‑vision docking, and mission‑planning software.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the onboard operating system, flight control stack and image‑capture software.
• Implement computer‑vision algorithms for precision docking on live power lines.
• Build mission‑planning and fleet‑orchestration tools that schedule inspections, maintenance and surveillance missions.
• Test software in simulation environments and in real‑world field trials.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience with embedded‑systems software development for robotics or drones.
• Strong background in computer‑vision techniques.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership and collaborate within a diverse team.
• Professional proficiency in English.
