Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting

About the role

Deel is looking for a Senior Manager of Corporate Accounting to lead its accounting function and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting in compliance with GAAP. You will bridge operational excellence in month‑end and year‑end close processes with strategic improvements to the company’s financial systems.

Key responsibilities

• Own the monthly and quarterly close process, validating critical financial line items generated by internal finance integrations.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses tied to integration‑generated financial events.
• Prepare, review, and support the preparation of financial statements and related disclosures.
• Lead a team of accountants, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to resolve complex accounting issues and enhance accounting infrastructure.
• Drive continuous improvement of accounting policies, procedures, and system architecture.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in corporate accounting and financial reporting under GAAP.
• Proven ability to manage and develop a team of accounting professionals.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across finance and other business units.
