Senior Operational Excellence Specialist

About the role

Alvotech is seeking a Senior Operational Excellence Specialist to lead strategic improvement initiatives across the organization. The role acts as an internal consultant, partnering with functional leaders to optimise processes, boost performance and embed a culture of continuous improvement that supports the company’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional operational excellence projects using Lean, Six Sigma and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks and waste, and develop sustainable solutions through value‑stream and process mapping.
• Facilitate workflow redesign, business process reviews and standardisation to enhance quality, compliance and scalability.
• Manage complex transformation projects, including planning, risk management, stakeholder engagement and benefit tracking.
• Drive implementation of new operating models, governance structures and operational frameworks.
• Support inspection readiness, risk assessments, investigations and CAPA activities to ensure GMP compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, Biotechnology, Supply Chain or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of experience in operational excellence, continuous improvement, manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, quality, project management or management consulting.
