Software Developer – Backend Services (Azure)

About the role

Embla Medical is seeking a motivated Software Developer to design, build and manage backend services that support its mission to improve mobility. You will work on modern Azure‑based solutions, collaborating with international teams and helping shape the company’s cloud‑first strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services and integrations using Azure Logic Apps, Function Apps, Data Factory and MS SQL.
• Contribute to the evolution of Embla’s technical landscape and support the cloud‑first roadmap.
• Participate in international projects and coordinate with business units worldwide.
• Manage consultants and contractors as needed.
• Help build a strong team culture of experts.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and developing software services.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Ambitious, solution‑oriented mindset with solid communication skills.
• Fluent English proficiency.
• Relevant university degree or equivalent practical experience.

• Azure cloud platform (including Logic Apps, Function Apps, Data Factory).
• API Management.
