Software Developer – Backend Services

About the role

Join Embla Medical (Össur) to help improve people’s mobility by designing, executing, and managing backend services on Azure.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services and integrations using Azure, Logic Apps, Function Apps, Data Factory, and MS SQL.
• Shape the future system landscape and support the company’s cloud‑first strategy.
• Participate in international projects and collaborate with Össur’s business units worldwide.
• Manage consultants and contractors.
• Contribute to building a strong expert team and its culture.

Required profile

• Experience designing and developing software and services.
• Knowledge of Azure and/or other cloud platforms, API Management, and C# (considered a plus).
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ambitious, solution‑oriented with solid communication skills and good English proficiency.
• University degree or equivalent relevant experience.
