Clinical Lead / Clinical Trial Manager (Europe) – Talent Pipeline Opportunity

About the role

Emerald Clinical Trials is building a network of experienced Clinical Leads and Clinical Trial Managers to support upcoming studies across Europe. This home‑based position will oversee global and regional clinical trials, with a focus on renal, oncology, cardiometabolic and autoimmune therapeutic areas.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day trial operations from start‑up through close‑out.
• Manage study timelines, enrolment targets and operational deliverables.
• Provide oversight of CRA activities and ensure monitoring quality.
• Support site feasibility, selection, activation and performance management.
• Partner with sponsors, investigators and cross‑functional teams.
• Ensure protocol compliance, data quality and adherence to ICH‑GCP.
• Identify operational risks and implement corrective actions.
• Deliver regular study updates and status reports to stakeholders.
• Mentor CRAs and other study team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy or related discipline.
• Prior experience as a Clinical Trial Manager, Clinical Lead or equivalent.
• Strong background in monitoring and site management.
• Working knowledge of European regulatory requirements and ICH‑GCP.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across international studies.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Experience in renal/nephrology trials is highly preferred.
• Professional certification (ACRP or SOCRA) is advantageous.
