Cinematic Artist

About the role

We are looking for a Cinematic Artist to join our Cinematics team in Reykjavík. You will be responsible for creating trailers and promotional video content for our portfolio of IPs, ensuring strong visual storytelling and narrative flow.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute captivating game trailers and video ads using in‑game capture, real‑time engines and compositing tools.
• Collaborate with team leads on story treatments and narrative scripts during pre‑production.
• Own the shot pipeline from rough blocking through animation, compositing and rendering to final delivery.
• Provide studio support for internal video production needs.
• Balance creative excellence with operational efficiency to meet strict deadlines.

Required profile

• Comprehensive grasp of film language, pacing and visual storytelling.
• Strong foundation in core 3D animation principles.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborative problem‑solving.
• Maturity to give, receive and implement constructive creative critique.
• Proven experience turning scripts and storyboards into polished video assets.
• Willingness to handle a variety of tasks such as in‑game capture, editing and UE5 cinematic shot creation.
