About the role
Join Bókun, a Tripadvisor company, as a Front‑end Engineer in Reykjavík. You will create user‑friendly interfaces that power tour and activity operators worldwide, blending new feature development with UI modernization.
Key responsibilities
- Build and ship interfaces used daily by thousands of travel operators.
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to take features from concept to production.
- Refactor and modernise a mature codebase, reducing technical debt.
- Contribute to architectural decisions shaping the future of the frontend platform.
Required profile
- 4+ years of professional front‑end development experience.
- Strong focus on user experience and visual polish.
- Comfortable communicating in English.
Required skills
- Proficient in TypeScript and React.
- Experience with modern CSS (Tailwind).
- Familiarity with Next.js or React Native.
- Ability to work with REST APIs.
