Global Product Manager

About the role

Embla Medical (Össur) is seeking an ambitious Global Product Manager to lead one of its product lines in Iceland. You will be responsible for shaping the product strategy, driving profitable market share growth, and contributing to the company’s overall development.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the overall strategy for the assigned product line.
• Manage the full product lifecycle, from concept through market launch and post‑launch optimisation.
• Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, operations, sales and marketing teams worldwide to bring new products to market.
• Develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies in partnership with global marketing.
• Gather Voice of Customer insights and translate them into new market and business opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; MBA or related advanced degree is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, business development or product management.
• Proven ability to lead and participate in international, cross‑functional projects.
• Strong communication skills and excellent spoken and written English.
• Experience in the medical or healthcare industry is advantageous.
