Inventory Control Specialist

About the role

CoreWeave is looking for a proactive, detail‑oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join its data‑center team in Blonduos, Iceland. The role is fully onsite and focuses on accurate tracking of hardware and IT assets, ensuring smooth logistics, and supporting efficient resource allocation across the facility.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain an up‑to‑date inventory of servers, networking equipment, and other IT assets within the data‑center region.
• Coordinate shipping, receiving, and safe storage of IT materials, and manage distribution to other facilities.
• Conduct regular audits of the asset inventory, verify accuracy, and update records as needed.
• Collaborate with operations to allocate hardware and materials efficiently, optimizing utilization.
• Document inventory movements, shipments, and audit results, providing periodic reports to management.
• Use inventory management software and related tools to ensure precise record‑keeping.
• Communicate with Operations, IT, Procurement, and Finance teams to maintain workflow continuity.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory records, implementing preventive measures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in inventory management or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with asset management software.
• Excellent organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Curious mindset for identifying and solving issues.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced startup environment.
