Power Platform & AI Developer

About the role

Alvotech is looking for a Power Platform & AI Developer who will build and maintain low-code applications, data models and AI agents, and integrate them with enterprise systems. The role covers Power Apps, Power Automate, SQL databases, Dataverse, Copilot Studio and secure, documented development.

Key responsibilities

• Build canvas and model-driven apps with clean UX, delegation-aware formulas, reusable components and role-based security.
• Design cloud flows for approvals, notifications, data sync and integrations, with error handling, retries and logging.
• Design SQL schemas, write views, stored procedures and queries in SQL Server / Azure SQL, and tune performance.
• Model Dataverse tables, relationships and business rules, and manage solutions and environment security.
• Build and deploy AI agents and copilots in Copilot Studio, grounded on company data, with prompts, tools and guardrails.
• Connect apps and flows to enterprise systems via OData, REST APIs and custom connectors.
• Apply secure coding practices, including least privilege, secret handling and input validation.
• Use Azure DevOps for source control, work items and CI/CD, moving work from dev to test to production.
• Write technical documentation and user guides, train users and troubleshoot production issues.

Required profile

• 3+ years building production solutions on Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate).
• Hands-on experience building at least one AI agent or LLM-powered solution (Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI or similar).
• Experience integrating with REST APIs, OData and custom connectors, and with JSON.
• Understanding of Power Platform ALM (solutions, environments, managed vs unmanaged deployment).
• Working experience with Azure DevOps (Repos, Boards, Pipelines) or a similar toolset.
• Awareness of secure coding principles and common security risks.
• Able to gather requirements from non-technical users and communicate clearly in English.

Required skills

• Strong SQL: schema design, joins, views, stored procedures, indexing and query tuning.
• Solid Power Fx and working knowledge of Dataverse.
• Nice to have: SAP S/4HANA integration, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure SQL, AI Search, Key Vault, Power BI and DAX, agent frameworks (RAG, MCP, Semantic Kernel), n8n, Power Pages, regulated industry experience and Microsoft certifications (PL-400, PL-600, AI-102).
