Remote Audio Evaluation Specialist – AI Speech Project

About the role

Join a global AI initiative as a Remote Audio Evaluation Specialist. You will help improve speech synthesis by listening to paired audio recordings and selecting the higher‑quality version according to detailed guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Listen to two audio recordings for each case and compare them carefully.
• Choose the recording that sounds clearer, more natural, and overall better.
• Follow the project’s evaluation guidelines consistently for every case.
• Maintain a throughput of roughly 20–23 cases per hour while ensuring accuracy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Native speaker of the target language.
• Previous experience in audio evaluation or similar crowd‑sourced projects (Appen experience preferred).
• Strong attention to detail, good listening skills, and ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Stable availability, ideally 9 AM–6 PM in your local time zone.
• Laptop or desktop computer with a reliable internet connection.

• Estimated earnings of $23–$26.45 USD per hour based on expected productivity.
