About the role

Lead a store in Akureyri for Sports Direct, delivering world‑class customer experience and driving commercial performance. You will embody the company principles and inspire your team to achieve ambitious targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the team, maintaining high standards of service and visual merchandising.
• Ensure meticulous store presentation in line with the Sports Direct brand.
• Drive sales performance, meet and exceed targets, and support commercial goals.
• Create an engaging work environment and plan succession strategies.

Required profile

• Recent management experience in retail.
• Passionate about people and retail.
• Confident leader who can motivate and challenge staff.
• Data‑led, target‑driven and detail‑oriented.

Required skills

• Strong communication at all levels.
• Ability to promote Sports Direct values internally and externally.
