Tax Law Lawyer

About the role

Deloitte Legal, an international law firm serving companies across many industries, is looking for a dedicated tax law lawyer to join its team in Kópavogur. The team includes lawyers, tax lawyers and other specialists, and the work centres on tax advice and related matters.

Key responsibilities

• Draft legal opinions and advise on tax law
• Communicate with government authorities
• Carry out tax compliance checks
• Prepare documents
• Work with other advisory teams locally and abroad
• Provide additional tax and legal advice to large and small companies

Required profile

• Degree or master's degree in law
• 3-5 years of experience in tax law
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, initiative and independence
• Good analytical ability and problem-solving approach
• Very good Icelandic and English, spoken and written
