Bartender – Full‑time at EDITION Hotel

About the role

Join the EDITION Hotel team in Reykjavik as a full‑time bartender. You will create memorable drink experiences for guests while maintaining a clean and well‑stocked bar environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare drink orders using precise recipes and measuring systems.
• Open, serve, and manage wine and champagne bottles.
• Maintain bar cleanliness, set‑up, and condition of all tools and equipment.
• Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies; transport supplies to the bar area.
• Process all payment methods, count the bank at shift end, and complete cashier reports.
• Secure liquor, beer, wine, and storage areas; perform closing duties.
• Follow company safety policies, report incidents, and complete required training.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of bar or beverage service experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lb, and work on varied surfaces.
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
