Engineering Leader – Plant Process Engineering

About the role

Autoneum is seeking an Engineering Leader to coordinate the Plant Process Engineering team. The role supports the Plant Manager in overseeing process engineering operations, ensuring compliance with standards, and driving continuous improvement across production and OCU capacity management.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the Plant Process Engineering team and allocate resources for new programs, projects, and special initiatives.
• Manage MOVE and OPEX budgets, tooling modifications, and minor changes in serial production.
• Oversee capital expenditures (CAPEX) within the approved budget, excluding project‑related CAPEX led by PMLs.
• Support plant layout, industrialization of new programs, and maintain EHS and IATF 16949:2016 quality compliance.
• Participate in RFQ processes, benchmark best practices, and contribute to innovation and technology development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial or automotive components environment, preferably within a multinational company.
• Proven project‑management and leadership abilities.
• Experience with new product introduction and launching activities.
• Fluent English (minimum C1 level).
