Kitchen Staff

About the role

We are looking for reliable Kitchen Staff to prepare breakfast and lunch, support serving lines and assist with occasional catering events. You will work in a fast‑paced cafeteria environment, ensuring food is ready, safe and presented attractively.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and maintain serving lines, keeping food at required temperatures.
• Prepare menu items and baked goods according to Opaa! recipes and daily plans.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders and other kitchen equipment with proper certification.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow FIFO inventory procedures.
• Monitor and record hot and cold food temperatures, complete HACCP and food‑safety logs.
• Requisition food and supplies, stock milk coolers and ensure proper stock rotation.
• Assist with dishwashing, equipment cleaning and chemical usage monitoring.
• Serve portions with correct utensils and ensure quality presentation.

Required profile

• Commitment to food safety regulations (HHFKA, CACFP, HACCP).
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and maintain accurate production records.
• Willingness to participate in safety programs and continuous training.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a team.
