License Owner / Operator – Football Community Builder

About the role

Stranger Soccer is seeking a motivated License Owner / Operator to launch and run its football platform in Reykjavík. You will be responsible for building a vibrant local football community, securing venues, and delivering memorable game experiences through a proven mobile‑app model.

Key responsibilities

• Grow the player base by attracting and retaining football enthusiasts.
• Identify, negotiate and manage partnerships with local football venues.
• Recruit, train and supervise Official Hosts who run weekly games.
• Lead marketing initiatives and community‑building activities to increase brand awareness.
• Ensure high‑quality game delivery and consistent player satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Stranger Soccer’s headquarters for operational guidance and technology support.

Required profile

• Passionate about football and knowledgeable about the Reykjavík sports scene.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proven ability to take ownership of a business.
• Strong relationship‑building and networking skills.
• Self‑starter who can work independently and drive results.
