Maintenance Manager

About the role

Autoneum is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance strategy for its equipment and facilities. The role focuses on minimizing production downtime through proactive maintenance, ensuring safety, reliability and operational continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously improve maintenance policies, procedures and plans for all plant equipment and facilities.
• Oversee preventive (scheduled) and corrective (breakdown) maintenance activities, responding to emergencies as required.
• Lead, recruit, train, evaluate and motivate a team of maintenance technicians and staff.
• Manage the maintenance budget, monitor OPEX/CAPEX, and ensure adequate spare parts, tools and supplies.
• Guarantee compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance actions, costs and equipment performance and report to senior management.
• Implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and train operators on basic maintenance routines.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
• Technical and managerial background with proven budget management skills.
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), preferably SAP PM.
• Upper‑intermediate proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, HVAC and tooling system knowledge.
• CMMS operation (SAP PM preferred).
• Budget planning and financial control (OPEX/CAPEX).
• TPM implementation and operator training.
