Part‑Time Registered Nurse – PACU

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Post‑Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) on a part‑time basis. You will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing same‑day surgery, ensuring safe recovery and comfort.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.
• Monitor patients post‑operatively, assess pain and nausea, and administer medications as ordered.
• Document all patient observations, medication administration, and supply usage.
• Discharge patients following established protocols and provide education to patients and families.
• Maintain accurate charging of medications and supplies.
• Assist in orientation of new staff and act as a resource for departmental policies.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current RN license.
• Minimum two years of PACU or ASC experience preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Ability to work independently in emergency situations and make sound clinical judgments.
