SAP Functional Analyst - Manufacturing, Quality & PP/DS

About the role

Alvotech is looking for an SAP Functional Analyst for its IT SAP team. The role owns the SAP S/4HANA processes that run manufacturing and quality: Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM) and Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS). It is a hands-on functional role in a regulated (GMP) manufacturing environment, linking the business to the system by resolving incidents, designing and testing changes and improving the solution.

Key responsibilities

• Provide functional support for SAP S/4HANA, focusing on QM, PP and PP/DS, including production/process orders, master recipes, BOMs, work centers, inspection lots, batch management and usage decisions
• Analyze incidents, perform root-cause analysis and resolve issues within agreed service levels, escalating to technical resources or external partners when needed
• Support and optimize PP/DS planning and scheduling, including heuristics, planning runs, alerts and planning issues, and manage master-data dependencies
• Gather requirements, write functional specifications, coordinate development and own change requests end to end, including testing, UAT and deployment
• Lead smaller enhancements in the QM / PP / PP-DS area and contribute to larger projects and rollouts
• Follow GMP and CSV requirements, maintain functional documentation and train key users and end users

Required profile

• BS/BA degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Supply Chain, Life Sciences or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of SAP functional experience, preferably in PP, QM and/or PP/DS
• Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA in a productive manufacturing environment
• Fluent written and spoken English

Required skills

• Hands-on configuration in at least one of PP, QM or PP/DS
• Good understanding of manufacturing, quality and production-planning processes
• Preferred: GMP and CSV experience, process manufacturing knowledge, MM/WM/EWM/PM/MES or LIMS interfaces, ITIL-based support model, SAP certification in PP, QM or PP/DS
