Shipping and Logistics Coordinator

About the role

JBT Marel is looking for a team member to handle spare parts shipments and deliveries to customers. The team covers a wide range of spare parts tasks and all express shipments. All new employees receive proper training, and the position is temporary until 1 year, with possible continuation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare spare parts packages
• Pack spare parts
• Communicate with internal customers and carriers
• Prepare invoices and approve them
• Prepare export documents and register shipments

Required profile

• Experience with exports and/or customs is required
• Very good spoken and written Icelandic and English
• Good communication skills, teamwork spirit, integrity, diligence and safety awareness
• Positive, solution-oriented approach and interest in continuous improvement

Required skills

• Knowledge of SAP is a strong advantage
• Very good general computer skills
