Welder and Assembly Worker – Garðabær

About the role

JBT Marel is looking for energetic team members to work on welding and assembling a wide range of equipment. Work is done in independent teams of 10–20 people of all ages and backgrounds, who share responsibility for completing each product. All new employees receive appropriate training.

Key responsibilities

• Welding work, including welding of stainless steel parts
• Assembly of machines and equipment

Required profile

• Interest in welding (TIG) is required; experience is a big advantage
• Good Icelandic and/or spoken and written English
• Computer literacy and interest in industrial technology development
• Good communication skills, teamwork spirit, sense of responsibility and safety awareness
• Positive, solution-oriented approach and willingness to improve
