Associate Scientist - QC Product Testing

About the role

Alvotech is looking for an Associate Scientist in its Quality Control Product Testing team. The role takes part in the quality control and release of products manufactured at Alvotech. Key responsibilities

• Perform routine analytical testing using techniques such as liquid chromatography (SEC, APAC, CEX, etc.), capillary electrophoresis (iCIEF, CE-SDS) and compendial methods (colour, clarity, subvisible particles, TOC, etc.), and review analytical test records to support manufacturing with limited supervision.
• Carry out routine laboratory activities such as equipment cleaning, verification, stock management and general lab maintenance to keep operations ready and compliant.
• Prepare buffers and other materials needed to support testing.
• Help create and maintain quality documents and contribute to documentation reviews and updates within the quality management system.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
• At least 0-1 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical sector.
• Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and documentation rules is an asset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a PC and common Microsoft packages such as Word and Excel.
• Analytical techniques: liquid chromatography, capillary electrophoresis and compendial methods.
