Car Mechanic – Iceland

About the role

Executive Solutions Group is looking for an experienced Car Mechanic to join a long‑term project in Iceland. The position follows a rotational schedule and requires independent work on a variety of vehicle types.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical faults and perform computer‑based diagnostics.
• Repair brake systems, suspension components, and drivetrain parts.
• Service and repair passenger cars and light commercial vehicles.
• Replace consumable parts and conduct engine overhauls.
• Perform maintenance on electromechanical equipment when required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in automotive mechanical diagnostics and repairs.
• Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures.
• Communicative level of English.
• Willingness to work on a rotational 8‑weeks‑on / 2‑weeks‑off schedule.

What we offer

• €20 net per hour initially.
• Approximately 50‑60 working hours per week.
• Free single accommodation and all flights to/from Iceland per rotation.
• Private insurance and a permanent employment contract.
• Rotational schedule: 8 weeks work, 2 weeks off.
