Entry Level Manufacturing Operator – 8‑Week Training

About the role

Alvotech is looking for motivated individuals to join its drug substance manufacturing team in Reykjavík. No prior pharmaceutical experience is required – you will complete an 8‑week Alvotech Academy that prepares you for work in a GMP‑certified cleanroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for equipment setup, operation, and maintenance.
• Wear appropriate cleanroom attire and adhere to strict hygiene protocols at all times.
• Record every step of the production process accurately and report any deviations immediately.
• Support a safe, reliable, and positive work environment.
• Participate in a rotating shift system covering day, evening, and night shifts.

Required profile

• Ability to follow clear procedures and work methodically.
• Attention to detail and willingness to report irregularities.
• Good command of English.
• Team‑player attitude and comfort with shift work.

Required skills

• Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) awareness.
• Understanding of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Cleanroom protocols and protective clothing usage.
• Accurate documentation and data‑integrity practices.
