Hospitalist Physician - Remote

About the role

We are looking for experienced Hospitalist Physicians to join a remote contractor team focused on improving inpatient clinical documentation and medical record quality for AI training. You will apply your clinical expertise to evaluate and enhance the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of electronic health records.

Key responsibilities

• Review medical records, including FHIR data and clinical notes, to assess suitability for AI training.
• Verify that clinical findings, assessments, and treatment plans are supported by documented evidence.
• Evaluate inpatient documentation such as History of Present Illness (HPI), Past Medical History (PMH), assessments, and care plans.
• Identify missing, incorrect, conflicting, or unsupported information and apply established rubrics consistently.
• Provide concise feedback on documentation quality and support quality‑assurance processes.
• Communicate findings and complex cases clearly with the project team.

Required profile

• MD or DO degree with board certification in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or Hospital Medicine.
• Current or recent inpatient/hospitalist experience (within the last 2 years).
• Strong understanding of inpatient documentation workflows and clinical documentation standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow defined quality rubrics.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
