Contract Psychotherapist / Psychologist (Minor Care Specialization)

About the role

Spring Health is seeking part‑time, contract‑based psychotherapists or psychologists to join its remote provider network. The focus is on delivering evidence‑based mental‑health care to adults and minors through a technology‑enabled platform.

Key responsibilities

• Provide counseling sessions to clients ranging from short‑term EAP goals to medically necessary ongoing treatment.
• Treat adults who have completed online symptom screenings and, when qualified, children, adolescents, couples, or families.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date calendar and complete session documentation promptly in the scheduling system.
• Apply evidence‑based modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT, and CPT, tailoring interventions to each client.
• Collaborate with Spring Health’s provider support, clinical navigation, and administrative teams as needed.
• Deliver culturally competent, empathetic care that respects diversity and inclusion.

Required profile

• Licensed to practice counseling in Iceland (psychologist, psychotherapist, clinical psychologist, social worker, etc.).
• Active professional liability insurance at market rates.
• Conversational English proficiency for interviews and onboarding.
• Minimum three years of independent clinical experience, including work with minors (age 10 or below).
• Access to a reliable computer and comfort with tele‑health technology.
