Director of Finance – Fish Industry

About the role

The Director of Finance will lead financial strategy and operations for a global fish manufacturing business. This senior position requires a blend of strategic thinking, strong analytical skills, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial systems, processes, and controls to drive results.
• Model current and future financial states, including P&L, cash flow, and balance‑sheet implications.
• Design complex business analyses using data from multiple systems.
• Lead change initiatives, applying business acumen and company values.
• Build collaborative relationships with internal partners and senior stakeholders.
• Oversee project accounting and percentage‑of‑completion revenue recognition.
• Utilise SAP (or similar ERP) for financial reporting and analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field; CPA/CFA a plus, MBA an asset.
• Minimum 10 years of finance/accounting experience, with at least 5 years in people‑management.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably multi‑site and multi‑industry.
• Proven ability to lead senior teams and drive execution.
