Floor Manager – Retail Store Leadership

About the role

As a Floor Manager you will lead a passionate retail team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive store performance. You will set the tone for a welcoming, inspiring environment while ensuring operational excellence on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver high‑level customer service through expert styling advice, strong product knowledge, and an engaging store experience.
  • Analyse sales data and collaborate with the Store Manager to maximise department performance.
  • Lead, motivate and develop a team of Sales Advisors to meet service and presentation standards.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and training of new team members.
  • Identify and nurture future talent, contributing to development plans.
  • Oversee daily store operations, ensuring efficiency and brand‑standard alignment.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, delivering the best possible experience for every customer.
  • Step into the Store Manager role when required to ensure continuity.

Required profile

  • Previous retail experience with solid knowledge of store operations and standards, preferably in fashion.
  • Customer‑focused mindset with a genuine passion for product and service.
  • Strong communication skills, able to give clear direction and constructive feedback.
  • Adaptable and flexible, comfortable working varied hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Proven ability to organise and motivate teams in fast‑paced environments.
  • Analytical thinking with understanding of key retail KPIs.
