About the role
Acclaro is seeking native Icelandic linguists to join a long‑term collaboration on international localization projects, focusing on IT and software content.
Key responsibilities
- Perform post‑editing of AI‑generated translations.
- Provide human translation when required and review edited content for accuracy, fluency, consistency and naturalness.
Required profile
- Native‑level proficiency in Icelandic.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a linguist, translator or MTPE specialist, preferably in IT/software localization.
Required skills
- Strong command of Icelandic grammar, style and terminology.
- Familiarity with CAT tools and localization workflows.
