Medical Receptionist – Patient Care & Administrative Support

About the role

We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our fast‑growing, purpose‑driven team at Altais. In this role you will support physicians by delivering excellent patient care and handling administrative tasks in a paperless, clinic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Room patients, take vitals, perform injections, urine analysis, EKG, wound care, and ear lavage.
• Answer and triage telephone calls, schedule and confirm appointments, check‑in patients, collect co‑pays, and process payments.
• Check‑out patients, provide after‑visit instructions, and assist with prescription orders, referrals, and authorizations.
• Remind patients of missed appointments, immunizations, labs, and preventive services.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited medical program.
• At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience in an outpatient setting (3 years preferred).
• Experience using an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EMR software.
