Clinical Project Manager (Europe) – Talent Pipeline Opportunity

About the role

Emerald Clinical Trials is expanding its European footprint and is building a pipeline of experienced Clinical Project Managers to support upcoming study awards. This home‑based position allows you to lead global and regional clinical trials across therapeutic areas such as renal, oncology, cardiometabolic and autoimmune diseases.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for assigned clinical projects from start‑up through close‑out.
• Act as the primary point of contact for sponsors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain study timelines, budgets, forecasts, and project plans.
• Lead study teams to ensure delivery against quality, budget, and timeline expectations.
• Identify risks proactively and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Oversee site activation, enrolment performance, monitoring activities, and overall study execution.
• Ensure compliance with ICH‑GCP, applicable regulatory requirements, and company SOPs.
• Manage project finances and vendor performance.
• Support proposal development, business development activities, and bid‑defense meetings.
• Mentor and support Clinical Trial Managers, CRAs, and other project team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, or a related discipline.
• Approximately 7+ years of clinical research experience.
• Minimum 2 years of Project Management experience within a CRO environment.
• Experience managing global or multi‑regional clinical studies, preferably in renal, oncology, cardiometabolic or autoimmune therapeutic areas.
